Quartz
Quartz countertops are eight to ten per cent resins, polymers, and pigments and around 90 per cent ground quartz, a naturally hard
material that creates a surface resembling granite. Depending on how the quartz is processed, different appearances result: finely ground
quartz has a smooth appearance, while coarsely ground quartz has flecked appearance. Quartz countertops are strong and durable. Also,
it has a glossy shine. In addition, quartz countertops are scratch and stain resistant; it is easy to clean because of the non-porous surface.
